COMPATIBLE MEDIA:

• We accept CD-Rom, DVD, FTP site (less than 1GB) and e-mail (if less than 10 MB).- PC based files only.

File Formats & Application Support:

• Adobe Illustrator CS4 or less (.ai or .eps)
• Adobe Photoshop CS4 or less (.psd or .jpg)
• Encapsulated Postscript (.eps)
• Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) layers not flattened

Guidelines to Prepare Files

FILE INFORMATION:

• All project submissions must include all design files needed in their native format with all layers (not flattened), along with a low resolution .pdf  colour proof for each file.
• Convert all text to outlines in Illustrator or convert to shape in Photoshop to eliminate font incompatibility.
• All images should be submitted between 75 dpi and 150 dpi at final output size. 
• Add a minimum of 3″ to the left, right, top and bottom of each file you plan to submit for output.
• If using Illustrator, provide all pictures as links in a separate folder.
• Submitting your files at full size is always most convenient but if the application does not permit a page this size indicate the exact multiplier needed to enlarge your graphic to the correct final output size (scale used).

COLOUR INFORMATION: 

• Please provide layered files with ICC profile embedded, using CMYK mode. Best black is C30% Y30% M30% K100% black.
• Include all colours within your file as Pantone colours. Southwood Graphics cannot guarantee colour match when files are received in CMYK format. Southwood Graphics is not responsible for color matching that was not specified by either Pantone Matching System or hard copy color match.
• Vehicle Information
• Southwood Graphics has the ability to design on a standard vehicle outline template based on year, make and model of your vehicle for a basic fee. Ask your customer care team member for details. (Note: We cannot guarantee that measurements are 100% accurate, please measure your vehicle from extreme bumper to bumper length to ensure that the
• template used is accurate).
• If your graphic design wraps all around your vehicle, please be aware that pattern is hard to match between front and sides or rear and sides because of the curves on vehicle. We strongly recommend using solid color for transition between those areas to avoid pattern mismatch on your vehicle.
• Be aware of grids, handles and lights on vehicle. Do not place important text or logo on your vehicle in those areas to prevent it from being cut or unreadable when installed.

Editing:

• If your files do not meet our files specifications or require editing, Southwood Graphics will advise you by e-mail. If you require us to manipulate your files you will be charged an hourly rate of $95/hour.
